Seen from the water

The best way to sail is with a friend.  Which is what I did with Jay Lash on Casco Bay. It was a very lazy late-August day on the water.  Little wind.  In three hours I think we saw one lobster boat and, oh yes!, half a dozen seals. But Jay managed to get the sailboat up to about six knots for a few minutes - which he enjoyed.   Even if there wasn’t a lot of action, I think Jay’s of the opinion that a slow day on the water is still better than a fast day at the office. I think he’s on to something.
