Fremont Street in Las Vegas.

“A picture's worth a thousand words.”

I’m not much for landscapes or architecture. I like street photography, introduced to me by Peter Turnley, a world class journalist and fine art photographer.

One reason I love recording images is that I can tell you a thousand words about every picture.  Each shot is a bookmark of an experience.

Photography makes me want to go places, do and see things, and most importantly, meet people. I’ll get a better picture if I have a relationship, momentary or lifelong, with the person I’m photographing, even if it’s just the street where they live, and where I may have loitered for an hour or two.
